Founded 1806 by John Suttons, Suttons opened the country's first seed testing laboratory in 1840, sold the first ever foil sealed vacuum packed seeds in 1965 and have held the Royal warrant for over 140 years. Teasel - Dramatic plants that are loved by bees and butterflies. Ideal for cutting and drying. Imposing plants that will bring real impact to the back of a border and are loved by bees and other pollinators. Flowers June-September. Height 180cm (6'). HB - Hardy biennial. Ox-Eye Daisy - Attractive to bees and other pollinators. Flowers year-after-year. Perfect for a sunny border or flower meadow. Flowers June-August. Height 60cm (24"). HA - Hardy annual. Nasturtium - Lots of bright flowers in a range of shades. throughout summer. Very easily grown and versatile plants. Happiest in free-draining soil in sunny positions, they can be used to cover banks, fences and hedges. Flowers June-September. HA - Hardy annual. Height 23-30cm (9-12"). Aster - Excellent for mid-late summer colour, asters are invaluable for bedding and edging, and in arrangements. Sow March-May under glass for flowers July-October, or sow outdoors in April-May. Half Hardy Annual – sow under cover. Upright growing, medium-sized flowers. Resistance to aster wilt disease. Sunflower - A great value, easy-to-grow, multi-headed variety, producing masses of golden flowers with large, dark, central discs. The bushy plants are ideal for border or container and were still blooming at the end of September in our trials. A real favourite with children. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Small items are sent by Royal Mail and larger items by courier. When ordering large items please provide your phone number so that the courier can contact you if necessary.
Please note that when several items are ordered they may not all be delivered at the same time.
Delivery is free on orders over £200, including vat, to most parts of the UK. Products excluded from free delivery are honey jars, extractors, tanks, bee feeds and uncapping trays. Delivery for these items will be £4.99 plus surcharge where applicable.
